Just a Knitted Mohawk... (Discussion)

Let’s face it, knitting seems to have turned a new leaf from socks your grandmother used to do up in a flash during the war. Knitting has become punk, goth, bohemian, couture on a budget, a reclamation of the sacred crafty art. There are really no ends to the creativity that abounds from a mere ball of yarn and a couple needles.

Take this for example:

A knitted mohawk! And there are others. Frilly dog sweaters, knit bikinis, dolls of the ugly cute variety and the most adorable baby clothes you ever did see. And that’s just getting started!

What kind of crazy projects have you seen? Imagine you have knitting super powers, what would you do with them?

Knitted mohawk could also be a great Centurion headpiece for kids studying Roman history/military or in need of a warm but oh so cool costume ;-)
