
Materials:
- 2 Skeins of different coloured yarn (I've used purple and lime green for mine)
- Crochet hook or knitting needles
- Chain around 13 loops, measure around your cup to make sure it fits all the way around
- Crochet normally three rows
- Switch in second colour, if you do not know how to do this you can refer to our changing colour presentation here.
- Crochet using new colour for 5 rows or desired width of cozy
- Cut end of yarn so you have at least 5 inches worth of extra
- Thread extra yarn through with the crochet hook as if you were hand stitching to make the long flat piece you have just made into a cylinder shape
- Fit over your cup of choice!!
- Cast on around 13 stitiches, measure up to your cup of choice as best you can
- Alternate knit one row, purl the next for a smooth finish, or knit all rows for a puffier finish. Stop after three rows
- Switch in second colour, if you do not know how to do this, you can refer to our changing colour presentation here.
- Knit/Purl another 5 rows or desired width of cozy
- Cut end of yarn so you have at least 5 inches worth of extra
- Thread extra yarn through with the crochet hook as if you were hand stitching to make the long flat piece you have just made into a cylinder shape
- Fit over your cup of choice!!
